special today on punctuation

I sell words. You can buy them. Do you need your company or institution branded? Its true voice defined? Stories told? Your cause or dream advanced? I can help.

My specialities are brand writing, magazine creation, and infographics — from ideation to delivering a rewarding read.

Why Squint? The act of squinting narrows your field of vision so you see more clearly. That's what I do for content: I zero in on the essential and boot the rest.

take my word for it

Establishing the perfect tone for your project — one that draws people in without them knowing exactly why — relies on the warmth of a human voice.

Think of me as a clay artist who leaves a thumbprint on her work when finished. I want your audience to sense a human touch in what I create for you — and for them to feel that ineffable click.

We are gobsmacked

Somehow we won the Robert F. Sibley Magazine of the Year. Held in high esteem, The College of New Jersey, a friendly state school down the road a piece from Princeton, punches well above its weight. That makes editing its magazine — with Art Director Kelly Andrews and Assistant Editor Kara Pothier — a sheer delight.

The 2017 award judges from the D.C.-based Council for the Advancement and Support of Education noted a sense of home in the magazine, as well as "smart editing and smooth language throughout." And this comment tickled us: "The Sibley judges expressed pure enjoyment with this well-crafted magazine."

love me some pictures

If I dared to be a designer, I'd starve. Instead I work with the cleverest men and women in the fields of design, illustration, and photography. I owe them big: They've helped free me from my slavish dependence on the paragraph.

If you want your content to pop — no matter the delivery method; heck, I'd love to put text on a coffee cup  —  I can help.
